California Eastern was founded by Jorge Carnicero in 1946 in Burbank, CA. They were one of the first firms to ship cargo by air, and within a year, the firm was serving both coasts. Assets sold to Slick Airways in 1948. Restarted operations in 1950 but diversified into multiple government aviation and managerial jobs, airlifted supplies for the Korean War. In 1961 they became Dynalectron Corporation no longer operating an airline.
